摘要

A field study was conducted to explore the production potential of maize and field bean intercropping system under different crop and nutrient management practices during 2007-08, 2008-09 revealed that farm yard manure application @ 10 t/ha and supplemental irrigation at IW/CPE ratio 1.0 to intercropping system and 0.8 to field bean has shown nutrient uptake, post harvest soil fertility and soil microbial population. N, P and K uptake, post harvest soil fertility and soil microbial population were recorded higher with sole field bean with recommended dose of fertilizer.
