摘要

The effects of various NPK combinations on the yield, quality and leaf nutrient status of apple cv. Red Delicious grown at 3 altitudes (low, middle and high altitudes of 1400, 1600 and 1800 m above sea level, respectively) in Jammu and Kashmir valley in India were studied during 2002-03. Fruit maturity was earliest with 300 g N + 150 g P + + 450 g K per tree at all altitudes. The lower altitude resulted in earlier fruit maturity than the middle and high altitudes. Treatment with 600 g N + 300 g P + 900 g K per tree gave the highest fruit yield per tree. Among the altitudes, the middle altitude recorded the highest fruit yield. The application of 300 g N + 150 g P + 900 g K per tree and 300 g N + 300 g P + 900 g K per tree resulted in superior fruit colour. The high altitude was superior in terms of fruit colour and firmness. High fruit volume was recorded for the middle altitude in combination with 600 kg N + 150 g P + 900 g K per tree.
