New scientific journals commonly go through a growth period where changes are made inan effort to find the best combination of format and content to match the mission state-ment and objectives so carefully crafted at its birth, as well as how to best reach itsintended audience. This journal is no exception. With this issue, we have completed fouryears of publication. While we can look back on our successes, we also must see where wecan make improvements to grow and better serve our readership. We are now embarkingon major changes that will make this happen. This effort is being guided by a TransitionTeam made up of active members and headed by the International Society of Environmen-tal Indicators (ISEI) President, Diane Henshel.
