摘要

Bacidia stipata Lamb is a minute shrubby lichen exclusive of maritime Antarctic. The species grow usually in crevices or cracks of rocks which are abundantly covered by bird manure, and they form masses of small dark-greenish cushions with a diameter of 8-20 mm. Bacidia consists almost exclusively of crustose species and B. stipata is the only species with a fruticose biotype (Lamb, 1954).
