BMI View: Romania successfully completed the 15% share offer for the previously fully state-owned Romgaz. The continuing privatisation trend of Romania's state owned companies, as stipulated by the IMF, is expected to provide a boost to the energy sector over the coming years. The success of OMV Petrom, which was privatised in 2004, is testament to this outlook.
