California-based Pandol Bros has invested US500,ooo dollar to double the coldstorage and cooling capacity of its Chilean subsidiary Agro Frio. Steve Anderson reports. AGRO FRIO S.A., the San Felipe-based table grape export firm, celebrated two important company advances at the end of this year's export season: increased storage and cooling capacity and new acreage to increase its production numbers. "We've added significant capacity to our San Felipe processing plant, doubling the coldstorage and cooling capacity," says company leader John Pandol. "It's entailed an investment of nearly US5oo,ooo dollar at the plant, but it is what is needed if we are to continue to grow and prosper."
