Dubai—The top fresh produce exhibition for the Middle East region, WOP Dubai, recorded significant growth in 2015, welcoming a record number of exhibitors and visitors.WOP Dubai, the Middle East's leading exhibition for fresh fruit and vegetables, which took place in October 2015, saw impressive growth on its seventh edition, recording an increase in visitor numbers, a 20 per cent rise in exhibitor numbers and a 25 percent expansion in exhibitor space. Organised in cooperation with the Dubai Municipality and held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai, the event demonstrated the present importance of Dubai as ahub for the region : and the broad interest being shown in the market by international suppliers.
