摘要

An algorithm is developed for calibrating soil-erosion models using data on the content of the isotope Cs-137 in the soil profile. For two areas in the basin of the Veduga and Protva rivers, the models of the Federal Hydrological Institute and the universal equation of soil erosion are calibrated and the soil erosion intensity is calculated. Satisfactory coincidence of calculated and measured values of soil erosion is obtained.
