The soil solution always contains monosilicic and polysilicic acids, as well as organosilicon compounds, which modulate many soil processes. Silicon compounds in the solid and liquid phases interact by complex mechanisms. The displacement of phosphate anions from sparingly soluble soil phosphates by monosilicate anions after the application of silicon fertilizer to the soil is investigated.
