Daniel Leroux, ceo-of Egyptian exporter Kadco, talks to trade middle east about the difficulties brought on by the Egyptian revolution and the Arab Spring. We have developed over 26ha of new table grape production. The rootstocks were planted in 2011and will be grafted with the Early Sweet and Arra varieties next season. We have also planted some 40ha with Medjool dates. The Middle East is far from being stable. The only markets that are still looking exciting are those in the Gulf, above all SaudiArabia and the uae.
