摘要

Morphology, chemical properties, and basic pedogenetic agents have been assessed for soils with ''suspended'' and fragmentary profiles on coarse and medium fragmentary eluvium-deluvial ''kurum'' sediments. It is proposed to specify rankers and kurum soils. Schemes of kurum soil evolution and degradation are given. Hence, the role of plants in stabilizing products of atmospheric sedimentogenesis, in accumulating allochthonous material and its pedogenic transformation (Berg's factor) is emphasized. Data on atmospheric eolian material in litters of various biogeocenoses are presented. Rankers and deep-humus kurum soils require special attention in order to avoid degradation and development of man-produced rock zones of pyrogenic ''selenic'' landscapes; these soils are to be shown on land-use maps as they are the most vulnerable components of various soil ecosystems.
