Producttraceability remains at the forefront of I FCO's thoughts with the launch of a unique pallet incorporating RFID technology. Logistics provider I FCO, operator of a pool of more than 83m reusable plastic containers used primarily to transport fresh produce from producers to leading grocery retailers and generator of US 647.2m dollar in revenue for 2006, continues to champion the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) across its range of pooling systems, and has further pushed the technology with the introduction of a new plastic pallet that takes advantage of RFID.
