摘要

Measurements arereported on the ac electrical conductivity and dielectric constant of some sodium tetraborate glasses as a pure sample and samples containing 2 mol% Cr_2O_3 and 2 mol% MnO, respectively. Measurements have been made at frequencies of 0.1, 1, 10, 20 and 100 kHz from room temperature up to 600 K. The real and imaginary parts of the dielectric constant are calculated and fitted to master curves. These curves are expressed as a sum of the electrical conductivity, epsilon_(infinity) and a relaxation process. Cole-Cole approximation is used to describe the relaxation parameters From the shift factors the activation diagram was drawn and interpreted as different ion mobility mechanisms.
