摘要

Confetti hypomelanosis is a peculiar leukoderma particularly visible on skin of darker complexion. It refers to tiny (1- to 3-mm) macules readily visible on clinical inspection and most likely distinct from progressive macular hypomelanosis [1, 2]. Some of the hypopigmented macules have been described in a perifollicular distribution. Other types of focal leukoderma have been reported in patients undergoing PUVA therapy, as well as in vitili-go, tuberous sclerosis, pityriasis versicolor, photoaging, Grover's disease, Darier's disease. They may also be the result of some specific chemical insults . Contrasting with these pathological manifestations, a physiological pattern of faint pin-point hypomelanosis has rarely been described .
