摘要

Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) is a pleiotropic inflammatory cytokine that plays an important role in the regulation of other cytokine and chemokine production and adhesion molecule expression (Loyet et al., 2009; Palladino et al., 2003). TNF has been implicated in a diverse range of inflammatory, infectious and malignant conditions, and inhibition of TNF has been demonstrated to be an effective therapy for patients with chronic inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, psoriasis and ankylosing spondylitis (Palladino et al., 2003; Taylor and Feldmann, 2009).
