摘要

Modes of nonlinear propagation of two-component radiation pulses through optically uniaxial media containing resonance particles were studied theoretically. Specific features of their manifestation in "dense" media and in media with pronounced positive and negative birefringences were revealed. Exponentially and power-like decreasing solutions to the set of material and wave equations were considered. It was shown that these solutions make it possible to describe also the propagation of pulses when the direct electric dipole-dipole interaction between resonance particles is taken into account.
