The South African Committee for Stratigraphy (SACS) recently held its 44th Meeting. In response to the difficult times we are currently experiencing, and for logistical efficiency, the Committee reduced its size from ten to seven members. These are Wlady Altermann (Chair), Bob Thomas (CGS), Bruce Rubidge, Steve McCourt, Craig Smith, Michiel de Kock, and Chris Hatton (Secretary). The South African Committee for Stratigraphy also reduced the number of Task Groups from 18 to 9.
