Norwegian construction company Kynningsrud recently invested in Finnish piling-equipment manufacturer Junttan's latest piling-rig model, the PMx28. It has since been deployed at a road-bridge job site near Oslo, Norway. The project includes finishing 0914mm/22.5mm steel-tube piles, measuring 17m in length with a total mass of 6.7t. The piles need to be driven to 5:1 inclination, and the project is said to take six weeks. Junttan states that, thus far, the customer has been satisfied with the new rig and its driving capacity.
