THE increasing demand for quality DTH tooling in world mining, quarrying and geothermal drilling has meant that Mincon International has seen substantial growth of over 50 percent year-on-year since the introduction of its second-generation range hammer in 2000. For Mincon, superior tools are hammers and drill bits that can drill faster than most other makes in the field, and provide reliability coupled with minimal spares usage, leading to lower operational costs. There are huge demands on blast-hole contractors to maximum their productivity and minimise their costs in the competitive world they operate in. Mincon says working in close partnership with contractors is key to achieving this, citing the example of an open-pit mining application in Africa.

7. This research examines the determinants of eligibility and participation in 401(k) plans using two cross-sections of data from the Health and Retirement Study.
