The Papua New Guinea government may manage future state revenue from ExxonMobil's proposed PNG LNG project through a sovereign wealth fund. The project is expected to raise as much as $50 billion for PNG state coffers and double the size of the economy. PNG Public Enterprise Minister Arthur Somare said his government is working with Australia and the World Bank to ensure revenue from the project is used to develop the economy and transform living standards.
