During the years 1999 to 2001 the ears and grains of wheat, triticale, rye and barley were examinated for infections of Fusarium species in Brandenburg country. The species Fusarium graminearum and F. avenaceum were isolated from 2-7% of the grainsof wheat and triticale. Other species, occuring in lower volumes were F. culmorum, F. poae, Monographella nivalis, F. tricinctum, F. sporotrichoides und F. oxysporum.
