Thousand Oaks, Calif.-based energy-crop developer Ceres Inc. reported April 11 total revenues of US$1 million versus $1.3 million for the same period last year for its second-quarter 2013 earnings ended February 28. “The decrease was due to lower collaborative research and government grant revenues as well as lower seed sales,” according to the company in a statement.
