摘要

Praxair' develops combustion equipment to meet the industry's sustainability needs by complying with environmental regulations. Environmental performance of its combustion equipment keeps pace with acceptable NO_x limits. One result is its Dilute Oxygen Combustion (DOC) technology, based on staged injection of fuel and oxygen through separate burner ports. Each jet is controlled to produce specific flow characteristics. Reactants are intentionally diluted with hot furnace gases before reacting with each other, preventing high peak temperatures and allowing uniform heat transfer. Flame characteristics are optimised by manipulating staging conditions to achieve desired shapes and lengths.
