When New Vision Cooperative purchased the 450,000-bushel Hills, MN elevator from Cargill in September 2003, the idea was to ship grain on a second rail carrier and enchance members' grain prices. "All of our rail-loading locations had been on the Union Pacific," says Western Area Manager Mick Thon. "This was our first site on the BNSF Railway."
