Reliability, availability and automation are decisive factors that affect the profitability of vertical roller mills in cement plants. Milling and grinding is a stochastic process. The high degree of dynamic loading that results from this process, such as impacts and shocks, have a major effect on bearing and gear wear and therefore on the plant operating lifetime.
