The Abresist Corporation, Urbana, Indiana, specialising in wear resistant products, manufactures and installs a wide range of mineral-, ceramic- and steel-based abrasion-resistant protective linings for industrial material handling equipment. Products include Abresist, fused cast basalt, Alresist high alumina ceramic, Kalcor zirconium corundum, Kalsica silicon carbide ceramics, Kalflex flexible hose, Kalcret wear compound that can be sprayed or trowelled, Kalmetall-TC tungsten carbide, Kalmetall-W hard overlay welding and Kalmetall-C hard cast alloys. Many of these are used in combination to handle complicated wear situations. Albany International, worldwide leader in technical textiles since 1896 headquartered in Albany, New York, will be showing the successful stories of the Star Bags technology. Star Bags are reaching the 10 years milestone in the market, having been in the cement industry, one of the core supports for the awesome growth of its sales of 250 percent in the last 3 years.
