The News returned to ask the health care specialists interviewed by SWEDAC Magazine for updates on their ISO 9000 implementation experiences in the since the feature was published.Although the health and dental care sector in Sweden is still very much in the interim stage of ISO 9000 adaptation and implementation, the topic has been the subject of several conferences, and Tor Janson, of SWEDAC, said that a number of seminars were planned for 1999 to present the results of audits in the field. Borje Gahnberg, former Chairman of the Joint Organization for Certification (SEQS), now SWETIC (see note), confirmed very positive results from its own audits, soon to be available in a final report.
