The 45~(th) Congress of the European Organization for Quality (EOQ), will take place from 18-21 September 2001 in Istanbul, Turkey, where it will be hosted by ISO member, the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE).The theme of the conference will be, "Quality: the bridge to global competition". TSE comments: "Today, quality is being used as a tool by leading companies in order to be successful and create a sustainable competitive advantage. Successful organizations have already started developing a quality culture based on effective leadership, customer and people satisfaction and creating a learning organization, where the aim is to meet rising challenges due to every day increasing degree of competition in the new world, where there are no more boundaries."
