The existing working methods in the coal mining industry are based on coal loss in the goaf. To limit the oxidation process there, both the intensity and access time of the oxygen to the goaf must be reduced. Hence the prevention of spontaneous ignition in the seams with this tendency must begin with the start-up of ventilation in the accessed seam.
