Propagation of wave-packet at the interface between two fluid layers with different properties is investigated taking into account the surface tension. Using the method of multiple scale expansions the evolution equation is obtained in the third approximation. The wave-packet structure is analyzed and compared with the similar wave-packets in the systems "half-space/half-space" and "layer/half-space". The wave-packet shape and conditions of the second harmonic resonance are investigated. The conditions of wave-packet propagation of the ∩-form and ∪-form are presented and characteristic features of resonance region are determined.
