We are at the dawning of a new era! In the fall of 2011, the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists' (CAOT) Board of Directors approved a motion to outsource the production of the Canadian Journal of Occupational Therapy (CJOT) to SAGE Publications. This transition to a new publisher was a strategic initiative to establish CJOT as a forum for leading-edge scholarship that advances occupational therapy practice, education, and policy. This new arrangement for the publishing of CJOT through SAGE offers exciting enhancements to our readers and contributors. We welcome you to the first issue of CJOT published under this collaborative partnership.
