Paul Ecke Sr. had a dream that changed American floriculture forever. His vision was to introduce the nation's first potted poinsettia and create a new holiday symbol. Because of his efforts and vision more than 75 years ago, the poinsettia has become a perennial tradition for the holiday season all over the world -- and is the number-one-selling flowering potted plant in the United States.
