Argentina claimed victory after a team of European Commission legal advisors this month issued an opinion stating that Monsanto's European patent on Roundup Ready soybeans does not cover Argentine soy flour. However, Monsanto says the ruling will not impede the company's struggle to collect royalties using the European court system.
