As part of its announcement of principles essential to reforming the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)the law governing the regulation of toxic chemicals,EPA last week reported it is enhancing its current.chemicals management program through "chemical action plans" for substances of potential concern. One of those chemicals includes bisphenol A (BPA).Based on EPA's review of available hazard, exposure and use data, these plans will outline the risks a chemical may pose and the steps the agency will take to manage those risks.
