U.S. wheat industry leaders held a series of meetings on biotechnology and other issues this month with Australian grain industry organizations in Sydney and Canberra. Board action by V.S. Wheat Associates and the National Association of Wheat Growers in January called for outreach to grower and industry groups in Australia and Canada on biotechnology, and the Australian meetings followed similar visits with Canadian industry groups in March (see FCNFeb. 12, Page 10).
