Inchmuir Limited, which owns MRS Distribution Ltd, has announced its acquisition of leading Scottish haulier JBT (Jim Brackenridge Transport Ltd). The deal gives MRS a much stronger business in Scotland, whilst JBT has the opportunity to grow even faster than it has done in the last 2 years. The combined turnover of the two companies is in excess of ￡45m and the JBT brand will remain as strong as ever.
