摘要

We have shown how attribute volumes may be calculated, managed and interpreted using volume-based techniques. Modern depth imaging and amplitude inversion procedures produce very valuable products. If the attribute volumes produced are calibrated to borehole and laboratory data, their value is further enhanced. This value can be extracted quickly and economically by using computer assisted volume-based interpretation methods. With these techniques, interpreters can quantitatively estimate rock and fluid properties for the reservoir, a significantly valuable deliverable.
