Since joining CGGVeritas from Thales in January 2010, I have found in many ways that seismic technology is very similar to that of defence and security. As an engineer at heart, I am fascinated by the opportunities I see for innovation in such a complex and highly technical industry. I am also impressed by the passion of the people within this unique sector and the long-term relations they have developed with clients to solve challenges together.
