TGS is this month beginning acqui-sition of a 7700 km 2D survey in the Russian Arctic Sea deploying the Akademik Fersman. Data acquisition is starting with 4500 km in the Laptev Sea before the vessel moves to the East Siberian Sea to acquire an additional 3200 km. The survey is in partner-ship with Dalmornefte Geophysica Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (DMNG) under a 2D cooperation agreement announced in January.
