It is often said that at the Exhibition, company names change, but the same people appear with a different hat. It is just four years since the Association of Professional Foresters merged with Timber Growers Association and Lockerbie saw the launch of Forestry & Timber Association. Two events later, it is ConFor making its debut. The full integration of FTA and ConFor into a single company should be complete by the time everyone gathers for this much-loved occasion. This is ConFor's first major opportunity to meet the industry and the emphasis will be on explaining its aims and objectives, roles and action, as well as listening and learning.
