On October 4, Sabal Trail Transmission, LLC (PF14-1) requested FERC to initiate an environmental review under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Pre-Filing Process for a greenfield natural gas pipeline and related facilities, dubbed the “Sabal Trail Project.” Sabal Trail plans to file a certificate application following completion of the pre-filing process. Filing of the certificate application is anticipated by the end of October 2014 and the scheduled in-service date for the initial phase at least is 5/1/17. Sabal Trail requested issuance of a final environmental document by August 2015 and a certificate order by November 2015, to facilitate commencement of construction in the second quarter of 2016.
