摘要

Just in time for the holidays: the good news about the U.S. energy picture will continue for decades. Domestic crude oil and natural gas production will continue to increase, reducing U.S. dependence on imported oil. Low natural gas prices will help domestic natural gas-intensive industries boost their output and help expand gas export opportunities, according to the Energy Information Administrations (EIAs) reference case of the Annual Energy Outlook 2014 (AEO2014)1, which includes energy market projections through 2040. (See ExxonMobils very similar projections in adjacent article)
