The energy of a graph is defined as the sum of the absolute values of its eigenvalues.A tree is non-starlike if it has at least two vertices of degree greater than two. For4≤k ≤ n —2, we determine, in the class of non-starlike trees with n vertices andkpendent vertices, the trees with minimal energy if n ≥ 6 and the trees with second—minimal energy if n ≥ 8.
