The Canadian labour force is growing. According to the Conference Board of Canada's spring outlook, Canada is expected to post growth of 2.8 percent this year, buoyed by the strongest four-month run of new jobs since 2002. The same organization revealed that 210,000 jobs have been created since November 2006. But what does the future hold for the Canadian job market? A recent Harris Interactive survey conducted for Careerbuilder.ca indicates that 42 percent of respondents plan to add more full- and part-time employees. In addition, employers are looking at ways to attract more individuals by upping wages, offering flex work schedules and attracting retirees.
