Is your receiving area organized for flow-through efficiency? If not, organize your suppliers and carriers first. Warehouse managers traditionally give the most attention to the revenue (i.e. shipping) side of the business for obvious reasons. This means management attention is devoted to activities like order picking and shipping, sometimes at the expense of other warehouse operations, like receiving.
