Gazprom has announced that it plans to commence construction of theunderwater part of the Turkish Stream pipeline in June. Both, Europipe andSaipem have now announced that they are resuming operations on the project.Europipe is planning to produce the remaining 150 kt of LSAW linepipe that initiallyit would produce for South Stream to the diverted Turkish Stream pipeline project.The company will resume production in June, completing for the end of Octoberthis year. Saipem, is responsible for the offshore construction, will commence withlaying offshore pipeline in the Black Sea. Gazprom plans to finish the constructionof the first offshore string by December 2016.
