MBR understands that the onshore tender for the TAP pipeline is expected to beawarded by the end of September, the tender for the offshore portion of the TAPpipeline is expected to be announced by the end of the year. As mentioned inour March edition of this publication, the onshore part of this pipeline amountsto 443kt of large-diameter linepipe with the offshore component considerablysmaller at 75kt. There are now 8 submissions for the onshore portion of thispipeline, which has been split into 6 lots. Groups in the running are thought toinclude Corinth, along with other EU and Turkish pipe mills.
