For much of this year the US OCTG market has been in a state of flux as it has awaited the outcome of an investigation by the ITC into placing anti-dumping duties against nine countries. South Korea was, by far, the most significant of the nine countries under investigation. The country accounted for a third of the 2.7Mt of OCTG imports that arrived in North America in 2013. The list of anti-dumping and counter-vailing duties against leading welded producers is shown in the table on page 5.
