The Saudi large diameter line pipe market continues to see a pick-up in demand despite Saudi Aramco not closingthefive-year framework agreements with local pipe mills. As well as Welpsun and Global Pipe Company picking up significant orders in recent months from Saudi Aramco, MBR understands that fellow producer, National Pipe Company (NPC) has also recently secured a 150kt HSAW pipeline contract. The total diameter of HSAW supplied for the project is 32" for the Shedgum-Yanbu gas pipeline.
