All welded linepipe producers, LSAW, HSAW and ERW are waiting for Saudi Aramco to set its 5 year framework agreement for linepipe supplies. All mills that are approved by the Saudi National Oil Company both local and international have submitted a range of quotes for the five-year agreement based on different diameters/wall thicknesses within their individual product ranges. All mills have had to resubmit bids as they have now run past their validity date; bids have therefore been extended until the end of August.
